Mission Diverse teamed up with the CC Foundation to give away over 100 Christmas Turkeys to vulnerable families most in need across Birmingham and Sandwell.
The initiative was created by UK rapper, Fekky, who wanted to give back to the community over the festive period during the mists of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
With many individuals and families struggling even more this year, the rapper aimed to raise enough money to donate 500 turkeys through the CC Foundation.
But, with the support of famous faces such as; Anthony Joshua, Raheem Sterling, Ed Sheeran, Mo Gillian and more, the CC Foundation were able to raise enough money to donate 1,500 Turkeys across the UK.
Fekky’s CC Foundation reached out to Mission Diverse to team up and giveaway 100 Turkeys to families in Birmingham and the West Midlands. Working closely with our community distribution partners West Brom Basketball and C.O.B Basketball clubs, each organisation helped Mission Diverse giveaway Turkeys to families, homeless shelters and vulnerable individuals in Birmingham & Sandwell on the 22nd December 2020.
In a year that had so many lows and highs, we’re happy to end the year on a positive with the hopes of helping a few people along the way.
